I love this time of year, and most especially, I love pumpkins.

So as soon as there was a crisp in the air, I started getting a hankering for pumpkin inclusive items. In fact, my family has a rule called “Pumpkin Injunction” which states that if a menu has a pumpkin option, you MUST have the pumpkin option.
When it comes to cooking at home, though, I make an effort to try out old and new favorite pumpkin recipes alike. So far:
Roasted pumpkin and shallots with sage.
Spinach with balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese.
The dinner was an old favorite, and the muffins were something new–but definitely a keeper, and the cookies weren’t too shabby either.
